Nursery Dreams
I have always (secretly) had dreams of what my future child's nursery would look like - can't actually believe that I get to do it soon.
It's all still so surreal!
We have decided to not know the sex of the baby. Well, when I say we - I mean me. Jeremy wants to know, but can't as he knows he will accidentally spill the beans and then there will be a high level of emotion and tears flying around - lately I have been a mess!
So I will be keeping the room gender neutral. As we are moving back into my house - where my mum and brother live, we will be converting the upstairs living area to be the nursery. It's already painted a beautiful shade of grey - oh I am love with this colour - it's quite dark, but I will be having white furniture so it will balance it out quite nicely. I love the feel of this room already, it's so soothing and calm. I am sure I will be spending many mornings and afternoons having cuddles in here!
I also like things that are a bit 'forresty' or 'woodlandy'. Anything with antlers, bunnies, squirrels, trees and bears and owls! I like feathers, and dream catchers - so maybe there will be a slight Native American influence here or there... who am I kidding, there totally will be!
Here are a few inspiration picks from Pinterest that I simply adore!
I will reveal the nursery once it is finished - I hope that what I envision in my head I will be able to translate into real life!
