Bedroom Makeover

So a few of you would know that Jeremy and I have moved house and are now living with my mum and brother to save money (and get help from mum once bub arrives haha). 

Now, my old bedroom - which isn't that old because we finished building the house three years ago - was plain white and kinda boring. Don't get me wrong, I love white walls and all, but it has to be done properly or it can make a room look clinical. I wanted colour in this room as I had something envisioned in my head and I wanted to see if I could translate that in real life. 

Jeremy was keen to help me see out my vision, which ultimately meant that he would end up doing most of the work, not that I didn't want to help! But everyone in my family kept yelling at me; "you're pregnant!"
"you can't lift that, PUT THAT DOWN!"
"paint fumes are bad for you - go away!" quite rude really. I was just trying to help, yeesh.......

Jeremy, Nicholas and Jeremy's son put together our pallet bed, that I cut down and painted by myself - when I wasn't pregnant, and moved all the big pieces of furniture back into the room. 

Anyway, it got done over two weeks and I have to say.... it looks pretty darn good! There are few more things I want to hang up and decorate (things I can do when everyone is at work and they can't yell at me) before I will be truly happy with it, but here are some progress shots and the end result thus far.
